Just putting some films on my love film list. What films do you like that aren't that well known. A few you might not of seen but should. Mystic river, great film, powerfull acting. Men of honour, true story about 1st coloured man in the navy. The Limey , about english man looking for his daughter in USA. A film4 film. Classic
Usual suspects Leon Road to perdition, any tom hanks film, and he supports villa, legend Se7en is a great shout Starwars 4,5,6 Elf
Lesser known ones hmm! I like some foreign language ones with Jean de Florette and the follow up Manon Des Sources springing to mind plus anything by Guillermo Del Toro. Others are: Local Hero The Right Stuff North By Northwest From Dusk Till Dawn ( Salma Hayek http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYxxgvA8rlM ) Loads more
the lesser known hmm gabriel (has the guy from spartacus) gorgeous (jackie chan - crap story but awesome fight scenes as always for a chan film) Let me in (original version not the hollywood one) generation kill series was ace! bloodsport 1988 version (i was 14 and loved it!) avatar - dont care that its well known, its amazing! underworld mmmmmmmmmmm beckinsdale! loads more
Was that not Let The Right One In? The one about the vampires? If it is that is a great film especially the bit at the end in the swimming pool  Other films Nikita (French version) Goodfellas 3 Colours trilogy Heat Dead Man's Shoes Fitzcaraldo Donnie Darko Predator
me i love japanese anime Akira Ghost in the shell Urotsukidoji-Legend of the overfiend (just sick and wrong) then for live action Starship Troopers Zombieland Stakeland (new one about vampires pretty cool) Inbetweeners movie Buried (Ryan Reynolds film claustraphobic as hell) Ju-uon the grudge original The Big Boss (gotta love Bruce Lee) The Abyss The Thing Conan the Barbarian (the Arnie one, not the newer bag of tripe) I've probably watched 70% of films ever released, maybe more.
abyss!!! thats an awesome film, not seen it in years where is it now............. :geek: Huge fan of anime aswell, prefer the gritty looking ones as opposed to the fluffy lol
Not a lover of fluffy anime either favorite probably urotsukidoji or akira, looking forward to quantum leap movie though.
Found team America in the back of the DVD collection and had to watch it. not everyones cup of tea but I find it hilarious
There's an Australian film called Bad Boy Bubby. It may have had a re release over here but it used to be very hard to find, if you do find it, find a couple hours where you won't be distracted and watch it, amazing film! My favourite mainstream film of all time that still leaves me mesmerised every time I watch it is....
Great films there ads I've added alot of them onto my list. Just got the collection of - the girl with the dragon tattoo. Been told to watch the subtitles version an not the dubbed. Meant to be brilliant films.
I used to be nuts about films but having 2 kids in 2 years kinda put a stop to that! (and having a life in general  )
Crazy that as having kids has made me watch more films. I find once the kids go to bed i watch a good movie or footy or on my ps3 .
if you dont mind subbed film (i dont mind em myself) try 'troll hunter' norwegian film, really good also 'rare exports' a dark little twist on the xmas story
One of the best subbed films is district 13 (french), not everyones cuppa tea, its mainly free running, absolutely brilliant film
