Hi i have an enquiry on 70sq mts of wood flooring in a new build. The floor screed is not in yet but will be 55mm anhydrate liquid screed over underfloor heating. The customer wants a white oak,pre oiled, i advised only engineered because of underfloor heating.Any suggestions on make of flooring he should go for? Dont think budget is too much of a concern so any help would be great. Also once all the conditions are ready for installing i was thinking of priming with mapei primer g and using mapei ultrabond p990 1k adhesive. Is this ok or does it depend on flooring choice, all help will be much appreciated thanks

Cant advice you on the product as im out of date on who is selling what.

but prime with prim 'T' and the Mapie adhesive is fine.

Make sure it is a Engineered product and the subfloor is dried properly.

Kersaint Cobb aren't bad, and some stuff from havwoods is decent, although Junckers say their solids can be used over heating, don't forget your dpm.

Thats the issue. You cant use a surface DPM over underfloor heating.

It's really important to remove any laitance from an anhydrite screed immediately before applying adhesive and check that the adhesive is OK for anhydrite. We normally recommend SIKA or Rewmar - it really needs to be a flexible glue.
Definitely use engineered flooring over UFH and make sure that moisture levels for anhydrite screed are correct (different from cementitious screed - see our blog http://oakflooring.co/?page_id=2) before gluing any wooden flooring down.
    Hope this helps

not a bad guide but you can't use surface dpm over ufh, this is stated on all dpm system specs, although i do believe you can use a damp proof slurry.
