    We are very proud to offer the FloorSkills LVT Back to Basics Training course below is an outline of how the course will run. We have set up this course to have more LVT quality installers and would like to help as many of you guys out there to understand the LVT fitting,

    Dates

    28 - 29 February 2012

    Minimum of 3 people for course to run

    LVT ‘Back to basics’ Course (2 Day) Price is £335 per person. Forum members / Flooring Assessments assessed installers discount price £295

    Day 1
    • Reading Moister in concrete and wooden subfloors
    • Choosing the correct product to prepare the subfloor (timber + solid subfloors)
    • ‘Hands on’ applying surface DPM + Smoothing compounds to solid subfloors
    • ‘Hands on’ Templating skills
    • ‘Hands on’ installing plywood + applying compounds to timber subfloors

    Day 2
    • ‘Hands on’ Marking out areas to receive LVT (straight lay + Diagonal lay)
    • Adhesive selection. What adhesive and why
    • ‘Hands on’ Applying Adhesives
    • ‘Hands on’ Installing straight lay plank LVT
    • ‘Hands on’ Installing tile including feature strip.

    I was looking at doing an lvt course a while back, looked at the karndean, polyflor (which was very cheap)
    £125.00 and the fita, whats makes these ones stand out ?

    yes mate, i have not advertised it yet. infact if you want to shout a date out i will see if i can book the course around yourself. Be quick tho as Mondays work is for me is to set out the next few months courses.

    yes mate, i work 7 days a week and 23.59 hours a day :D

    I wanna do it but the only one interested at mo and if no else comes forward it won't happen .....come on !!

    I'm interested but might be a bit short notice for me, maybe a month or so after I'd defiantly be up for it !

    Best thing to do is put your name on here then Matt can give you some dates everyone can make.

    The last LVT course was top notch and a fella who come with me who has been fitting LVTs since they came out learnt alot which says something.
