Fed up with the Dickies trousers, the pads always end up on the side of your knee ,
I always used to buy Snickers, any recommendations on any thing else ?

    i like this stuff http://www.blaklader.com/gb/

Not many places stock them tho so sadly im sat here wearing some APACHE trousers. Nothing really wrong with them but not as nice or as comfy as the blaklader stuff.

Those in the picture mate. I still have a couple of pairs in their wrappers, I think I might have used the Winter ones first lol.

Edit: Can't have been, I don't have any fleece lining in these. You must work harder than me

Oops.............think it was me that brought these to your attention.

Did say at the time I hadn't tried the trousers but the rest of the stuff I had bought was good.

Anyhow I bought a couple of pairs a few weeks back, pleased with them so far but I haven't been doing much flooring work so they had it easy up til now !.

Mike I went for the 'regular' length......still a fraction on the long side for me :? !

To be honest Ray i dont much care for them :|
They look ok, but the side pockets suck for keeping knives in (too baggy)
knees dont sit at the preferred height for me, theres other grips ive got with em too
Only worn them twice, now just keep them for going measuring etc
Think im just too spoilt with the snickers floorlayers ones with the drawstring cord
Anything else is just 2nd best

They are ok for me just knocking around the workshop in conjunction with the odd flooring job (Been quiet for a while now) !

Can't see them lasting long if you spend all day every day on your knees getting them covered in screed/adhesive etc .

I've bought my last 2 snickers floorlayers off ebay for 40 odd quid brand new. You have to keep your eye out for them but cheap ones do pop up now and again. Getting cheap beanbag knee pads that go with them is a different story though!
