    it is not recommended.

If it was to be done then a very weak latex product is the best bet on the hope it stays down !

More to the point, why cant it come up? and what is planned to be installed over it? what is the area used for?

I know its not recommended, polysafe is been fitted the thing is its a nursery and has to be done over a few weekends there is polysafe down now which is down perfect but in a lot of the rooms half is wood and half is concrete i was going to over board the wood with ply and rip up the polysafe on the concrete area and screed up to the ply i have to do a room every weekend. it would be faster to prime and screed the hole floor in one go with say stopgap 700 or ardex na. i know you shouldn't do this but the room has to be ready for monday if the polysafe thats down was bubbling id have to rip up but its perfect.

if your going to risk it then i would go with - apply stripper to polysafe and give a good clean.

    Then
1- Fball , 131 neat and then 700 flex all over.

    or

2- Mapei , primgrip, renovation screed all over.

If its perfect can you not just stick straight to it? Doesn't sound good to me but I have seen it done.

Ye, PS will set but will take a while.

I wouldn't glue to the top tho unless the vinyl your fitting is a darker colour to the one that is already down?

Epoxy will go off but had it before with altro fix 19 really bad bubbles when using it on a Dpm'd floor the rep said that epoxy produces gases and when traped between 2 impervious materials a Dpm and vinyl or vinyl to vinyl there is nowhere for the gases to go and set hard and it looks really bad

I was going to suggest Xpresslay, I use it all the time in them situations. Failing that I use 2000s and blast the fan till it turns.

prime before putting tape down I have used any old ps as a primer before with a 4 inch roller or I have primed with spray glue for a bit more speed no drying times, have seen people spray the back of sheet where tape is going to touch but not tried that way myself yet
