Went a job yesterday. Was told that it was a 15' bedroom and there would be a bed in the room. Arrived to find that the old carpet was still down and required lifting and that there was a 95 year old lady in a coma in the bed that couldn't be removed from the room. What would you do? I went ahead and lifted the carpet and fitted up to the bed and then asked the lady's daughter to hold her mothers head and then eased the bed onto the new carpet. Finished the room and helped put the furniture back in. Felt good as the daughter had put off getting the room comfortable for years and now feels confident about getting more done about the house. Moral of the story it's nice to be nice!
how funny, but not funny at the same time  That has to be the most random thing that could ever happen on a job.
The boy that was on the LVT course and stayed at the same digs as me told me he`s had to do that a couple of times (can`t remember his name) the one that thought he had pulled LOL
