Speed Catt

    Just ordered a speed Catt looks like it could save a bit of time anyone got one and what's your opinion of it

    great tool for creasing carpet on the gripper. Really good on stairs.

    As for tucking the carpet? dont like it

    Will tuck thinner carpet or felt backed on gripper, but best for creasing

    Everyone that knows me will tell you that i own almost every tool you can buy.

    But on courses i keep it real and teach people how to make their own tools that will out preform most tools on teh market.

    As for the speed cat....... buy one ! Like i say its not the best for what it was designed for but for creasing carpets its really ggod.

    Got a deal needed a new stretcher so got a Crain 600 delux stretcher and speed Catt for 152 both brand new mate but I've seen them for sale between 60 and 80. It was from gj flooring they have a website got a 20% discount for trade aswell

    Yeah I have a Speedcat. As said previously I use it mainly for creasing and setting the carpet on the gripper. I do also sometimes use it for tucking but have found that you have to be careful to keep the tool flat on the carpet or you can risk the wheels marking the skirting board.

    Glad I bought it though, on nice big rooms with long runs it really does speed things up..........wont help you much in a small bathroom though.
