    Doidgey some constructive criticism which i hope not to cause offense ........... I dont like the way you have your header joints and two headers are very close together. Sorry .

    The job itself and boarder work looks spot on tho, just i think let down due to the simple spacing of planks.

    Unless there is reason why you have done it that way if it was me i would want someone to point out if something dont look right.

    i,m jealous......been trying to get some one to have a job done like this with a boarder etc, since I done the course, still no luck only straight blinking lays :mad:
    Thought I had a nice one lined up to day 30 sq kitchen diner she was talking 45, boarder, then i left and a friend put her off and now wants bloody laminate !!

    Yes Matt i agree them 2 planks are near to each other i just fit them randomly, never to old to be told.

    speaking as someone with f/all knowledge of Karndean & coming souly from a hardwood flooring background the near proximity of those header joints stands out like a sore thumb! what you have to imagine is that as the Karndean being installed is 'supposed' to look like a wood floor then the same methods / visual aesthetics should apply IE header joints spaced appropriatelly so as not to weaken the overall construct of the floor & to ultimately provide as natural a finish as possible to a wonderful wooden floor.

    The border work is fantastic & I am in awe of you guys at time with the detail & finish achieved...

    Certainly not a criticism Doidgey - viewed a few of your pics on here & TOP quality stuff...

    take it easy...

    I love reading all the Q&A you all put at the same time it lets all of use learn whats the right way and whats the wrong way thanks, by the way like you work it looks fab thanks for sharing with us
