PS- if anyone wants more info or maybe set up a account then contact me 'matt' and i will forward your details direct to them.
Yeah it's mad, so does it come as a room plan? If you cut 1 board wrong are u stuffed. Not that I ever cut a board wrong
wowza that's an impressive looking product, guessing that'll be reflected in the price... would certainly be v,v,interested in acquiring further info on the product from suppliers through to install - can you sort Matt...?
I will speak to them about your interest. To answer a few questions. you measure the room accurate. (really accurate) They then put all your dimensions into a cad program. The program checks what you have given as measurements and if something is slightly out it will tell you. They then manufacturer each board and each board is pre cut and numbered. So when you install you wont be doing any cutting yourself. Expansion etc is all allowed for. IF you was to damage a board they will cut a new board to fit, you tell them the boards i.d number. Put it this way, your average measure time of a few minutes will maybe turn into a hour or so. BUT when you come to install you will be very fast as you wont have to cut one board.
Luv it. I would be well up for doing some of that. Think I would try and keep it to square rooms! So you just got to make sure you start right. You would need to have straight walls tho wouldn't you?
No, room can be any shape. As long as you measure it accurately there is no issue. Its hard to explain but when you see on paper how to measure you will understand. For example, a 4x4 room you may end up with 20 measurements. Even the archives etc are all cut into the floor for you. There is a extra skill involved and that is measuring MM perfect. Not that its hard once you know how and use the correct equipment tho. Like i say, when the floor arrives you should not have to do one cut anywhere. You will be told where to start the first plank and with what expansion and then the whole lot will simply lay in number order! As most know the new training center will be opening soon where you all will be invited along to the opening day. Im going to see if Bolefloor are available to attend and demonstrate their product and answer all questions.
looks really cool, it's more your higher end consumer i'd guess looking around £70 m2 upwards but looks well worth it nice to see something new and interesting on the market.
