American stairs

    Just came in from working on the bike and the wifey is watching super nanny.
    Noticed that the stairs in the featured home has upholstered stairs. My question is do the yanks staple each stair under the nose or do they use grip? Just wondering.
    Ps where's Sid?

    Yes they seem to staple under nosing but they gripper also

    The yanks refer to that as French upholstery if memory serves correct.
