99% for sure there's a moisture problem present causing the cupping, this will occur due to the flooring gaining or losing moisture on top or bottom of the board faster than the the other!!!
Yep, Cupping = the outside edges of the board lifting, caused by excessive moister from the subfloor Crowning = The center of the board raising , caused by excessive moister above the flooring.
It's been down a few months he said. I'm back to do the porch in a few months ao will look at it. It's a house with no dpm under it but don't know if he's had a new subfloor or what. I did a ardex dpm in the kitchen
