Had the best Internet customer yet this week. Small room down stairs, they have got all the gripper underlay and carpet. I asked if the floor was concrete and said no it is wood round the edges of the room. Turns out the customer has decided to screw batten round the edge of the room and wants me to put down 2 layer of 10mm felt so it will reach the level of the gripper! Special job. What a waste of batten and underlay.

Batten on screed, and he had drilled and plugged it at an angle then put the skirting tight on top. I had to split all the batten down with a chisel to get it out.
