Has anyone had any problems using Treatex. I only ask as we supplied the Hardwax oil and the hardener for a job where there is heavy traffic, all went on well as by the instructions I get a call today from the customer to say something is wrong when i get there I find that the top coat of oil is blistered away from the board. never have this problem before having use this product many times. Treatex cant explain why this as happened

    any ideas

What are treatex saying 'may' be the issue and what help are they giving you to sort the issue?

They have been out to site and cant see why this has happen I have even given them a plank of the board to test and they have confirmed that it has gone off fine. They cant explain why it has happen as its never happento them before, but it has never happen to us before having sealed the same wood floor with the same Treatex + Hardener product in other customers floors. I have emailed my contact at Treatex expressing my concerns and ask for help to sort this issue out. Where do I stand with this one ?

they need to work out what the issue is and tell you why. If its a product issue then they will sort out for you.

I had one that blistered (not treatex) it blistered around to pillers just under a shelf that surrounded it, also only in corners where speakers were.????????
Bloody cleaners, they had used a aerosol polish to clean and oversprayed onto the floor before I had put the last coat on while I was having a cuppa, contaminated the floor...
