Strangely I have never really suffered with knee, or back pain. But, for the past year or so, I have had major grief with my feet. I have what`s called plantar fasciitis or policeman`s heel. Basically I wake up with my feet aching, the ache all day, and I go to bed with them hurting. So I booked an appointment on Thursday to have them injected ! The fill a syringe with quartizone and push it, about an inch or so, into the base of my heel. I can tell you, it seriously hurt. Anyway Friday was no better. Worse probably. But Saturday was o.k and I have just taken my dogs out for 2 hours, walking through the fields. Its at least 90% better, and think it will still improve What a relief !
That must be what my mate has. He thought it was caused by using the bully scraper on the ships, came on really bad after the last one he did. Ive been telling him to go to the doctors for weeks!
Probably mate. When I wear steel toes, its always worse. The doctor advised, I did n`t have the injection, as it was the most painful one he could give. But it seems like its going to be worth it !
quartizone will take the pain away but don`t use it long term it can cause ireversible effects, was used by lots of footballers in the 70s 80s and now they have walking sticks and cruthces.
Must be a nightmare having an injury that prevents you doing your job, I shudder when all think of all the floor tiling jobs I used to do without knee pads. I might do an Eddie Van Halen and get my hands insured for 10 million!
Talking of health issues, I've only just found out I'm allergic to bacon!!!!!! It brings me out in rashers. (sorry)
Sounds like tennis elbow, except in ya foot. I had cortisone injected in that, big f$$k off needle nearly fainted when I saw it. You can only have a couple of jabs of it. Anyone else suffer from tennis elbow?
talc them up mate they will be alright then, the only problem with me is i keep getting the talc all on my feet instead
