aha... indeedy... the mat was just a remnant which was 'roughly' cut just for the sake of the picture... client had a black coloured coire fitted to finish but no photo's taken
I presumed we were looking at the matwell especially as your name is welsh wood lol not the coir nice by the way
How do you do the mat well mate? is the floor butted up tight or do you have to router a groove and stick in a tongue?
ensured to start the leading edge of the matwell to off the tongue of the previously fitted full length of Ted Todd 21mm eng. then for the sides of it again used the tongue to join boards one side & the groove the other side to provide a flush & seamless transition from matwell to floor - -hope that made sense...!!!!
I know iWork with one sometimes and the bloke who he regularly works for as just told him he don't want him working for him any more as his work is getting rough lol but he still thinks he's fitter of the year
Only finding fault with the fitting of the matting. The matwell does look good, didn't realise I had to praise everything.
of course you do, haven't you read the T&C's of this fab & friendly forum...?? LOL i'm sure you'll agree this is generally a friendly informative & very useful site unlike other FLOORING sites i have used prev which have had some tw*thead members who just like to pick up on any neg's (ala Nasty N**K) LOL
yep and lets keep it friendly. I dont like locking threads and deleting them. So lets keep it that way. Thankyou.
