collatted screws????

Anyone know a good place for getting these for my makita autofeed?
Am not talking about the black drywall ones coz theys are sh1t!
Proper wood screws (normally gold coloured)
Anyone?

Don't hold very well, also crap at getting to Countersink on its own.
Proper wood ones are top, just a pain to get hold off at a reasonable price.
Ended up gettn 8 boxes of collated wood/chipboard screws (4-25mm & 4-35mm) 1000 in each box.
120 sheets later!!

 

If you've ever used the proper screws you'll never look at the drywall ones again lol

also grampian power tools in aberdeen do a wide selection

 

Also try Nailfast in Dundee, bit far away from you but I'm sure they deliver out in the sticks.

what size would you use for 6mm ply ? 25mm , 6mm ply 20mmfloorboards that way no penetration if pipes or wires directly under floor?

 

Yeh, I use 25mm ones for 6mm with chipboard etc.
35 for floorboards & 9+mm
