just fitted & finished (Lye wash & soap) 55M2 of this... was wondering if anyone else has enjoyo'd the beautiful finish of this flooring...? THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT WAS 35mm thick in lengths from 3-5m long, fully bonded to chipboard above u/f/h... not the greatest quality shot, but worth a butchers... *1st shot is midway across the floor of the lye soapwash 1st coat
TWO days installation - Fully bond using Bona 850. plus minor filling & light perimeter / detail sanding ONE day finishing - Full floor sanding 100g-120g, Lye application 6hrs drying, 1st coat of soap wash 20mins drying then final soap wash Looooong 3 days then long drive home over the bridge...
Lot of effort but the result speaks for itself. For the 100/120g sand did you use a belt or a multi disc. Tony
yep always big on the effort front but worth it as you point out, thanks mate... i used a Woodboy for all the sanding, use it on all my sanding & buffing jobs, does whats required...
JUST FOUND IT ON UTUBE... LOL liking the 'Deliverance' hillbilly hairdo on the dork trying to use it...!
