All you lads who fit safety flooring might be able to help, so:

I've got a smallish office to do in Can Can gel, the problem is it needs to go up the wall, as you would do with Altro etc.
So what kind of capping do I need and what do I stick it on the wall with, F60?
The carpet thickness is 5.5ml if that helps.
    Cheers in advance, Sidney;)

you have a range of options depending on what is on the wall and what your finishing against.

    A few options-

Dim strip = contact spray , contact adhesive, contact tape
Capping strip = contact spray , contact adhesive, contact tape
Single door plate = Grip fill, screws, conc nails

As for bonding the gel back = Spray, F44, F46 etc.

Has the capping got to be a certain colour? If not normal capping strip should be ok. As for addy i tend to use jantac or siga tape , i think f ball do one to. Hope this helps.

It's just the capping strip I'm unsure about.
It can be any colour, but I wasn't sure whether there were different capping strips for different thicknesses of flooring.
The strips will be stuck to painted concrete.

capping strip is very flexible and will allow 1mm up to around 12mm.

I've only ever seen it done with singles? I find the capping a right pain to lift and tuck vinyl under let alone carpet. That's coming from a guy that doesn't do cap and cove!

    Just checked Gradus. They do a rigid pvc carpet cap ( 2.5 lm strips ) codes are cc40 , cc75 , mcc40 & mcc75. Pricey though!

A very versatile instrument especially when it comes to making a brew! I'll have to try it on capping mate , it sounds a good idea.

One of the things I do with capping is open it up before I glue it on, as in stretch it open abit where the vinyl tucks under so it is a tad looser when tucking under.

Hehe, you're more than welcome to come over and be my bitch for the morning!!!
It's a primary school on the NE Norfolk coast.
A 6x4 office to be done in Can Can denim, about 15.20lm of capping but I haven't got the job yet, although it should be mine as I did a couple of other jobs for them over the holidays, and I'm the only one quoting on this one.

I'm willing to pay anything up to a quid a metre for the capping, must be black though!

    Can`t you just stick t600 up with F61 ?
I would have thought that would do it.
    Cheap and easy.
