I was in my suppliers the other day asking about cheap flexible screeds and was told you can use Green bag providing you prime with 131 and add the correct latex.
I disputed it and both the blokes behind the counter said tons of ppl do it? Has anyone ever heard of this?
I didnt want to take a risk and bought levelflex.

If it hasn't got any fibres in it, it won't be flexible. Me thinks:confused:

I think their confused ! I'm sure you can use it to level out rough boards BEFORE overlaying with ply !

as dannboy has already pointed out, they are getting confused, because it does say can be used over wooden floors etc
BUT only as a 'pad' before putting ply etc down
def NOT a flex fibre reinforced screed at all

What flooring company is that? Terrible that. Imagine you used green bag over ply and it all come up. What would they say then?

the idea around flex screeds is they do actually crack. But the fibres hold them together.

If no fibres then there is nothing to hold them together.
