hi chaps i am doing a job soon which is about 250m2 of latex-1 coat DPM-latex then fitting karndean vangogh.
i have to go somewhere else after the prep work is done for 1 week, is it ok to leave it like that? somewhere in the back of my mind something is telling me latex shouldnt be left open for too long before the floor covering gets fitted. am i right or am i imagining it?

As long as no crap gets on it you will be fine mate. I often screed jobs early when kitchens are out then go back a month later to fit the floor.

Depends what traffic and trades are gonna be there, if it's a full on site I would buy some corex plastic floor protector for it.

    no issues with leaving it.

Its primers you have to lay on within a certain time.

If you use latexplan it's hard as nails so no need,to worry about other trades buggering it up
