hey peeps, how much water do u like to add to ur stopgap 300? i know the recommened amount is 5.5 liters i used 5.75 the other day and it spread really nice
Yeah 5.5 on 1st mix . I sometimes add a bit more on other mixes if using the same bucket and also if its a hot day
5.75 would be ok but if you mix too thin the heavier particles in the screed will sink as it is setting, the screed will not be as strong and it will be dusty, you can always tell as soon as you look at as it will be a sort of pale sandy colour. I've gone a little bit over 5.5 many of times and it has always been ok though
