Does anyone have experience of modern floor finishing products? I have to re-finish an Afzelia (so it's quite dark) floor. It will be sanded back to bare wood and I am aiming to finish it with a very hard wearing semi-matt finish. I have been unimoressed with the wear propertis of hard wax products, not to mention their drying times, so am considering soemthing like a two pack water based finish. But which are best, how well do they wear, how easy are they to apply and do they impart that cold look so common in many water borne products? Buying a 5vlitre can just to find out is not really an option. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Jim
