Happy to cool. It's a concrete slab laid in the 90's over cobble stones. No dpm in place we think so I've used uzin L3 gold latex and powder with the L3 primer.
    Polyflor XL 2mm going in.

I think they're the original original stable doors Welsh. It's going to be a pottery studio with kiln etc.

    Good to know that mate.
Will ring my rep Monday to have a chat, the only issue I'd say is when reading a sub floor with no dpm the reading might be different in winter then summer and also when it's been raining heavy.

Agree with you on that mate, for me it's either asphalt or replace the base

I agree too daz. As it is near winter and it's always bloody raining, plus with the slab being plus 20 years old, I felt it was as bad as it's gonna get. I guess only time will tell on this one, but I've dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's pre installation so I'm covered. ;)

I'm with you Daz. I just can't see how a bit of primer and a latex (l3 gold) can hold that much moisture back . I prefer to use the 1 or 2 coat dpm on readings that high .

The uzin rep seemed positive Danny. I was apprehensive from the start believe me, but as the rep backed it, I'm covered. What screed would u use mate?

Jobs like that with no dpm I have in the last 5-8 years doing f75 2 coats with green bag.
But now changed to ardex NA and ardex dpm 1c and not had any problems.
Around merseyside are loads of houses with no dpm so that's why I'm very interested in the uzin set up, because the way I do it not can mean 3-4 visits to the job

Dont get me wrong i think l3 gold is a cracking compound but i was always taught to screed , dpm , then screed. If uzin say its ok then it must be , they know their stuff thats for sure !
