Kersaint Cobb 18mm multi layer wood

    Had sample of this dropped off recently can, or is it adviseable this be laid as a floating floor, i,ve only ever fitted up to 15mm wood ?

    Yes you can float this,but be warned we fitted some 2 weeks ago and the longest length in 25 packs was 900mm.We fitted this for a shop the client was happy with everything we did but was concerned about the short lengths.If your supplying make your client aware of this so you dont have any problems when it comes to payment.If the subfloor is wood i would nail rather than float.

    i sell this ,dont float it either full stick it to ply or nail it ,ive had a few problems with it delaminating on a couple of boards.

    don't bother floating, might as well do it right first time anything wider than 130mm width i'd always glue rather than nail
