I had new rustic hardwood floors installed two weeks ago. I am having constant splintering between boards and in spots of the middle boards where the knot holes are. One of the sales people told me this was because I was walking around white gym socks and they were aggravating the splintering. The Bona Wood Mop also seems to cause the splintering as well. This is my 4th hardwood floor and I have never experienced this before.

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brucie as Bourny states, get some images up on here [close-ups & room shots] then maybe a few opinions can be aired... OR book a few tickets across the pond for us & we can take a closer look...
