I had new rustic hardwood floors installed two weeks ago. I am having constant splintering between boards and in spots of the middle boards where the knot holes are. One of the sales people told me this was because I was walking around white gym socks and they were aggravating the splintering. The Bona Wood Mop also seems to cause the splintering as well.This is my 4th hardwood floor and I have never experienced this before. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
