Hi guys im new to the forum Im currently working on a council project fitting altro to kitchens, supply and fit. last year i found a guy on ebay selling walkway 20 for a £5m2. Its not A+ but A- grade- visually perfect but it could mean the rolls are a little smaller or theres a tear init somewhere. Bargain i thought so i started ordering large quantities from him. never had a problem until i gave him a deposit on the last order and he hasnt shown up. ive found him again now on ebay different name and number. Does anybody know where he was getting it from? the only details he ever told me was it was a warehouse up north somewhere.
direct from altro, sold as seconds? stolen? as he hasnt turned up this time, perhaps he doesnt know where to get it from now either
Don`t know the guy but.... I used to work for a charity group. They often got options on Altro, seconds, one off colors etc. They used to pay £3 a mtr.
I think he might get it from the Bradford area a guy up here buys seconds from there, thats as much info as I have
well thanks for that guys. it wasnt stolen but i know it was in containers possibly to be shipped abroad, wasnt just altro he could get either, polyfloor and marley. hes just taken his advert down on ebay after i contacted him, he also sells caravans lol
I did have a contact for that sort of stuff, could only buy 20 rolls tho ie short/b grade/ damaged what ever.. and yes he could also get others
