Welding

    Hi all, does anybody know if you can weld same day if vinyl is stuck with f46?

    whilst not advised you can do it, done it plenty of times welding up same day, in some cases it isnt possible to leave it till next day, just make sure you let the glue go off as much as you can stand though as if its wet it will bleed through.

    I don't think so.

    If you really must weld same day mark a line and leave a few mm either side then weld.

    Obviously it's not the correct way but if you need to do it same day

    yes, you can weld the same day with F46.

    Thanks guys. Got a job to finish tomorrow and its the last day there open till the new year so would like to get it done and dusted.

    Thanks for your help. I normally use f44 and leave it till next day for welding but good to know same day welding on 46 works.

    I've welded same day with 44 too. Not ideal but sometimes you have too.

    Pretty much always weld same day exept when using epoxy you shouldn't have a problem unless glue is squidging up through the join in which case notch is to big
