Hi lads hope you have had a gd Xmas, Any way I have a whole floor to do in a 45ft narrowboat I am planning altro in the kitchen and bath and then amtico everywhere else, the subfloor is 19mm ply but the joints are not good I was thinking a.. 9mm on top with feather finish or b... Some latex wood base ? I'm thinking latex but will it blow? Any comments would be much appreciated Kind regards Dave
Hi mate I do stacks of these ply and feather is the best way bit of a pain cause of how narrow they are template them in I find the quickest I was thinking of trying balls 700 and see how it goes there's
Done them in various mate did one front to back in polysafe all one piece nightmare shape others karndean amtico true forest whatever they fancy I would advise putting a little extra time on tho because of the amount of cutting
I agree with Matt, definately ply and feather, dependent on how bad the existing joints are try and make good and use 6mm ply to cross ply (less hassle when you come to any floor access panels, some have limited height movement).
