Nightmare amtico job finally finished..

    Didn't they want the border in the galley section?

    Took about 3 weeks from start to finish as amtico sent a faulty batch and the replacements were delayed in the snow. Because of that I then had to work around other trades and customers using their kitchen.
    Also, With the tiles having the corners chopped off I had to hand cut a straight edge on every tile so I could scribe the border fill, there was tons of wastage due to this and was nearly short! I would have killed for a gilly.
    They specified that border as they wanted a Georgian feel.
    Nice to finish and be paid straight away and a bottle of champagne and invited back to quote for other jobs.

    Same here, I got the feeling they were glad to see me gone and I don't blame them.

    Looking forward to a nice 20m karndean straight lay now. ;)

    F00k 3 weeks, i get cheezed on same job after 5 days,,, rarely any longer than that on any install... :cool:

    You know on some sites, there's always someone mad as a hatter and just has to be the loudest person there, he was one of them.
