    my one was getting hot earlier in the week, then changed the blade and it was fine

    dc270 cuts up to 26mm ? do u use it for engineered wood ?

    The professional purple same as green one is good since 3rd dec mines done 35 flats of 8mm laminate on one blade never gets hot

    Since I used mine one site 2 other floorlayers on site have brought one and a chippy has brought one none of them have the release lever that the green one has on the right hand side of it

    There is only 1 purple one, the ps150.

    Unless you're on about the bigger one that ive never used.

    I've used it for ripping 18mm solid oak planks with no problems

    Older stock? Ebay is full of them.

    I've got the purple ps150 and that has the lever.

    Where did you get yours from I got mine from amazon so yeah may well be an old stock item mate wants one so will try another company

    what you using it for on laminate ripping down the lengths ?

    use it for every thing ends length and round door frames not used jigsaw once only thing it doesn't do it cut right through in internal cuts so just nick the last but off with knife blade

    I find a bit fiddly on intricate cuts, and I tend to use a laminate gullitione for straights

    Just the 18 TCT blades. Think there's a 16 TCT too
