Pricing a LVT job for a college, nice job reasonable size. Its a turn of century old red brick school building you know the type? Refurbed about 10 years ago subs are all wood.About 7 years ago we changed most of the flooring to Altro Designer & one of the Tarkett safety's can't remember which one. Subs were a nightmare plenty of screed & 6mm ply fixed @100mm centres. Floors are in good nick would you degrease, prime & 700/Renovation or would you 4mm & top or would you rip it all out open a can of worms & cry like a baby?
If the sub floor is all wood and stable and sound and height isn't an issue I would favour the ply over top with good fixing screws and flex latex, not the best / correct method of stripping up back to original sub floor but sometimes its just not poss with time scales and school budgets
