I've been thinking about getting some QR code stickers made up for the van (the back dotty bar codes you scan with a smart phone)linking to the website there going to cost about £20 for 4 (one on each side of the van )just not got round to it yet for that cost even if you only get one job from them there worth the money.

A mate of mine has his printed on magnetic backed cards - they just stick on the side of the van and people can stick them on the side of their fridges.

You can generate the code for free online and save as a PDF and the guy who did the sign writeing on the is going to print them up for me. There also available on eBay for about the same money.

I use QR Codes on my van, but don't know if they have been used or not. I'm liking the idea, but how many cards will be picked out by scrotes and flung in the air? how many will grab all of your cards with no intention of ever using your services? I know the old saying well its only £15 and if I get just one job.... but if the cards keep getting nicked in bulk it soon starts costing a bit more than £15.

i can see the point this is why im looking for suggestions on it.i dont really like the idea of sticking one to my van full stop but if it worked then why not.there seems to be more cons than pros to me at the minute but it does have good feedback.just wondered other peoples views i do get alot of people approach me when im in my van asking for cards though.

He just had a plain white area on the side of the van with a "Please take one" sign over it.
