    Has/does anyone use this product?

If so how do you rate it as opposed to either their Primer MB or 156 or Balls 75 or 76?

How does it differ to other dpms?

And 1kturbo. Used it about 6 years ago on a solid wood job. Had to sprinkle sand on to key for adhesive. Don't know if it's changed since.

when rh below 92%, needs 2 coats though you'd be better off with 1k turbo up to 92% in 1 coat. Or Ardex DPM 1C one coat up to 98% and can be used as a proper DPM.

On a new concrete floor John if the RH is below 90%RH I use 2 coats of laybond rapid.
If above I use one coat ardex dpm 1c or 2 coats F75.

I find laybonds rapid DPM a bit pricey especially as you need 2 coats, why not go with 1k turbo £50 cheaper and only 1 coat required?

It was for an engineered wood floor I am going to glue down.

Readings on the Tramex are below 4 but I put down a dpm anyway.

I usually use Sika MB Primer and Sika adhesive but just wondered about using the Rapid dpm as the drying time is shorter.

4mc is 75% RH as rough guide I believe.

not used laybonds mate that's why i'm asking, use 1k turbo most of the time and started using dpm 1c since you told me it can be used as a proper dpm

I only talk from experience of using products on site which is where it counts to be honest.
There ain't much in the prices. Depends what discounts you get.

1k turbo i found on a new concrete floor it sucked in but left some pin holes so had to do a 2nd coat, also if its on too thick it bubbles.

I found laybond rapid dpm going down very fast as its thiner, also as soaks in well on rough concrete and 2nd coat leaves a good finish. Also both coats are dry in a hour.

If its a new concrete floor I sometimes pre screed then use a epoxy dpm.

it costs me £50 more for laybond's so never give it a go, who do you get it from for similar price to 1k turbo?

I use the laybond rapid dpm and find it ok price wise - 2 coats does about 40sm (the 2nd coat goes a lot further than the 1st). Costs me about £100+VAT.
Never used the uzin one but always assumed it would be more expensive like everything else they do. Laybond products are usually cheaper than the other manufacturers i've found and never had any problems with any of their dpm's.
