Got a karndean job to do, ceramics down needs priming and latexing , what are best products for this? ardex na and the blue primer, fball green primer that rolls of ... Or is there any thing else to consider ??
Whats allowed for in the price, that will determine materials tbh i like p51, neat on tiles. And you cant go wrong with NA, lurvely gear
I never use primer with na. Just give the floor a good hoover. We put down loads for a shop I use to work for and never had a problem with it.
If ceramics are on screed and not wood I would use ardex na, have done it dozens of times all with no primer
Its supposed to be flexible and even usable on wood, but someone else on here said it cracked on them. Dont you bother with LevelIt now daz? You were buying by the pallet last i heard.
level it 2 is not suitable ring instarmac up they will say on 19mm ply but I wouldn't even trust that, don't always go by what they say!!! na you don't have to use primer but we do!!! Personally I would be neutralising and de greasing if needed, p131 neat and then na over always do and had no problems EVER touch wood.
I do mate yeah, still love it just careful what I use it on. Got the rep coming to see me next week so will have a chat to her about level it 3.
Neat primer such as p131 and then TA Levelflex. Takes longer to dry but its fibre reinforced so no cracking worries. cheaper than most aswell
I can vouch for Mapei Renovation no probs!! We did a cafe with old (sound) ceramics and it turned out first class. Also like NA, but the price tends to limit the number of customers I can sell it too unfortunately.
Very true with the old mix, they've recently re-blended it and the new version is quality. It amazing what happens when they buy a new mixing machine, even the Fine Flow 3000 works!
