Cleared out the garage today and found four rubbing down stones. There all clogged up from rubbing down not quite dry latex or feather edge. Does anyone know a quick and easy way of cleaning them.

Cleaned the stones today. Wire brush on an angel grinder there like new no lost much height and tock about a minute per stone. Will defiantly be doing that again.

Are they the wooden handles blocks? as the ones ive had to buy for the last couple of years (plastic chinese crap) would have disintegrated if I put a angle grinder to them to clean them up, when your rubbing down a big job you can literally see the block getting shorter with each stroke :)
