In the process of doing a whole victorian house of laminate ive tried to undercut skirting blocks but keep hitting nails and ruining my blades on the fein and roberts undercutter there is a curved wall like a quarter moon (ie quarter of a circle) any tips on how to bead this as im stuck customer has requested beads rather than take skirtings off and risk damage to walls
thats what i wasnt sure about i heard that as well ive tried notching out the back every inch but it just breaks
Normaly undercut but you can form mdf scotia just leave it in a damp area say shed and it bends like crp
undercut for best results everytime matey... shirley your Roberts should see off any nails etc, my old Karlton (R.I.P.) used to blitz anything in its path...
i get a bit jittery when i start seeing sparks flying about and the customers got a worried look on her face haha
tell 'em not to worry... just let the beast enjoy her play time, it's what she was brought to this earth for...
Couldn't agree more! My Roberts undercut saw is one of the best tools in the van! Turns the ordinary into extraordinary!
Kahrs do a flexible beading. You soak it to get it more flexible. It's meant to be flexible enough to go fully around a post. I had it for a job but didn't end up using it. Remember that one Welshy.?
I just missed out on a whole gym which had wood but as for wood in general, no mate, all ive done recently is fluffy. 2 lvt jobs, that's it. Trying to get a fitter from this forum to do some carpet work for me when me and the other guys have too much but looking at pictures of his work on here id like to use him ahead of the other fitters, although i haven't had him do a job for me yet!! gala today, cheap for the lower end rentals.
