Got a job coming up next week that has a solid Junckers floor down. They want an lvt down instead. My normal route would be uplift and latex but only have 1 night to complete ! I was thinking 9 mm ply over the top screwed down. Any thoughts ? Cheers guys.

do you know if its on sports Cradles/joists and nailed down? or nailed to the floor boards , or is it laying on clips on a concrete floor?

Neither. Stuck down on a crete floor and seems solid. Problem is , if I start to uplift and it's a pig I may not get it finished by the morning.

Try your preferred screws on a same timber sample.Junckers Beach & Oak can be pretty tough ,heads will snap you might have to predrill?

if its a large area and you are up against it for time i would look at this product http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwqWOW6UuOs
it will depend on what the area is to be used for, how much traffic and if its wheeled or not, i have used a similar product for wood, you also haven't damaged the Junckers for your clients , it would work on the same basis as everlay , but i am only a junior member and this product might have been discussed prior to this on other posts.

It's a small restaurant , so wet mopping and lots of chairs. Oh and to make matters worse a manhole !

In that case I would lay 6mm ply and I would probably stick the ply as i like doing that, then nail with coil nailer! Then cover with fball stopgap 700, 3mm flex and then lay the LVT,
If the floor isn't as flat then use the 9mm
Would make a new trap with the 6mm plywood a little bigger than existing using 9.5mm cat angle, inside and out, and using tackifier under the ply in the trap section

I would probably sell the client on sanding and putting three coats of my uv cureing product on in one night! Rather than LVT ,but that's a personal preference ,
Good luck with whatever product you use, it all depends on when you can start, when they need to get back on it, and how big it is.

Put 6mm ply down over a junkers floor that was on to the joists in january with a coil nailer then put amtico down in a health suite reception.
You will defo need a coil nailer or simillar that junkers is hard as hell.
