That's longer than I anticipated...this is after the 1st coat of NA and before the DPM goes down. NA > wait 8 hours > DPM 1C > wait 8 hours > NA That would make it a 3 day job, no? Cheers,
We're not sure, one of the reasons we're going with DPM 1C. That sounds a bit more like it! Edit: just had conformation back from Ardex "when you can walk on it" The spec says the working time is 20 minutes. I'm wondering whether to cover 45m2 we'd be better off with several smaller (2x10kg & 1x6kg) tins rather than 25kg?
I did a 45m2 job and had the 6kg left over, but take it with you just incase.... screeded first day, made it my last job of the day, back in the morning to dpm, camre back in the the afternoon and screeded again, it's ok if it's tacky but must not transfer from the floor to you.. lol
Richard the working time isn't when you can walk on it, only how long after mixing it's workable in ideal circumstances. Didn`t read your post correctly sorry when you can walk on it is when you can apply DPM 1C, then let it go tacky and coat again with NA. EAasy way is to screed in the morning, DPM in the afternoon , then screed in the morning again and hope it dries in time, usually does.
