Hello lads , im pricing a job for a school class room which needs old thermo plastic tiles ripping up and removing. I know these tiles contain minute traces of asbestos. My questions are do i need to take any special precautions when ripping up ? Can i just dispose of the tiles bagged up into a normal skip or take to local tip ? Cheers to all replies.
you cant just go in and rip them up. Many rules around them, if you break them you can find yourself in a lot of trouble. Have a read of thi thread, all you need to know.
