Never done this before but thick rubber slabs held with pegs for playground area 70mm thick got them in from Germany , not bad price
Got a call about a month ago from a good client asking if I did rubber flooring, said yes and then he said it was for a play area, showed me a picture of a slide they had brought, so I had to check critical fall heights, trolled Internet and came across this German firm which looked just the ticket, they put me in touch with Irish agent, Had different thickness's from 45mm to twin layers up to 130mm Very easy to lay , cut with a Stanley, might have been easlier with a long plaster board saw.or jigsaw The 70mm was about £58m2 40mm about £42m2 Message me if you want to know more, will send some finished pictures later in the week
looks like a nice product... no sign of any adhesive, dry fitted via those plastic dowels is it UVc...? look forward to finished article...
Yes we just pushed it together via the plastic dowels, they recommend you stick the outside tiles to stop them moving Or people nicking them , this area was having a skirting to hold it all in place, so we didn't use any, but I think it would help as they moved around when we were trying to push them together.
