Did a conservatory yesterday and had to continue from the living room floor which was done 5 years ago. Had to uplift the border where the opening was and take up some of the diagonal planks. Nightmare to get up but got my multi saw with the scraper on it and come up easy. Think karndean ps was used on them. Anyway on the living room all the planks gapped all over. Was thinking the sun but its not that. It turns out the lady of the house cleans the floor with boiling water from the kettle. And soaks it. Crazy or what ? The nasty dog keep giving me the eye too.
good job there mate, like the border too Those header joints are way too close together for my liking too, needs to be way more random (unless they were fighting for planks?) Looks cack regardless lol
nice work Daz, don't know $heite about lvt's etc BUT fully agree with CEA in that the headers are waaay to close... what a sweet lil dog, just the right size for punting over the wall into next doors garden... small dogs, BIG bad f00kin attitude...
Well, that put a smile on my face. I was a little grumpy but not now... Seen a look like that before, one saturday early morning.. By the way daz well done..
l00ks a nasty lil ba$tard, good size 9, bit of Jonny Wilkinson stance & over the wall she goes... sweet...
Dog doesn't look too happy but who would with that haircut? Looks like the canine reincarnation of Jimmy Savile! Nice job as usual Darren.
At least the planks were the same size. When I did the same thing a few years ago on another job which was laid in the 90s and the new planks where thinner by 1mm. Nightmare trying to get it looking good.
