I don't like trimmers.....It might just be me but I find a Shark knife the best way.

Don't mind trimmers for certain jobs supercord in big class rooms etc use them all the time. If your doing a 3m2 bathroom in cushion floor is quicker to just cut it in with a hock knife.

Yeah they are great for long straight walls. Can do big kitchens in no time at all. It takes a bit of adjusting to get it cutting just right but once you have got it set its great. The depth of blade and height of legs affects how it cuts the material. A tip is to spray water round the sides of vinyl before using cutter as this will help the cutter glide easier. Good luck

I had an araseur back in the day but soon ditched it after nearly cutting myself on the stupid un-retractable effing blades. To be honest I think using trimmers makes you look like a DIY-er, not very professional, and customers don't look too impressed. A bit like riding a bike with the stabilisers on.

I made the mistake of buying this a few years ago, they take hook blades but only their own ones (they have holes in them to lock them in place) they weren't the cheapest to buy nor easiest to find! I have a different one now (stikatak i believe) which uses normal hooks and was a lot cheaper.
