5 storey hotel, 20 bedrooms per floor Carpet on durafit 650, we laid two corridors and then they realised that hadn't run the network wires to two bedrooms , had to rip it all up, relaid it after patching underlay but didn't look good around lights, so they had to order two complete corridors again and we fitted them the other week.
Think we got cross wires then I allways thought that was a chlidema, saves a hell of a lot of time . A couple of years ago we were doing a Hotel extension and the rep who measured it up for a Chlidema in the corridors forgot about the door checks so it was short once centred, had to put door pieces in about 40 doors ooops.
yes very lucky that we do, makes it easier to do a good job when its good materials, dont worry had our fair share of dodgy jobs along the way mind you had tons of people walking over the top of us when we were doing it, surprised it looks so straight
Maybe, these were rolls that we had to infill at the ends and lay off centre, i always thought Childema had the borders all the way around, but your right it saves a lot of time if most of the work is done for you
not enough of that kind of work nowadays, think it'll steadily decline over the next 10 years as most consumers have no clue what quality is
