Which one do you use and how often do you change it?
Just starting using the free one I got with some NA last year.
I don't like the point end trowels as hard to push screed to skirts.

I use ragni the longer ones. Just change it when I can't get it cleanish anymore.

Hate pointed trowels there no good in my eyes ?
Over time all trowels will start to bend & misshape due to the weight of pushing screed or when using them for patching with heavier compounds like 45 so a new one is always nice to work with. I prefer the medium sized narrow trowels for screeding but have smaller one for patching & a big one I use for large patching or ramping off If you known what I mean

standard one for me, can't get on with the longer or pointed ones, as spacey says change it when distorted or just keep it for making steps up, I use 2 for that job and a pointing trowel for awkward areas

Ive got a 16 inch trowel from rafina but have a tiny 5 inch x 2 inch for round back of toilets, just brought a hand held screeding rake from wolff will be trying it out next week, as for life of trowels I replace only if and when the handle falls off

20" Marshaltown, for screeding, any old trowel in my other hand, as I use that to lean on.

My last one did over 10,000 sq. m then I gave it to a guy who works for me. He still uses it.

Had Marshall towns over the years there rearly light and nice to use buy a couple every year when on holiday in the states. The only problem is I'm a lazy b#*#*#d and never bother cleaning them till I need them next. There's nothing wrong with Ragni trowls good price and last me a good couple of months. Went to a small hardware shop in the sticks the other day needed a trowel and left mine on another Jodie they had a stainless steel Marshall town in there they wanted £53 for it needless to say I didn't buy it

I would buy marshatown but there expensive. I clean my ragni but still have to change it over time due to screed building up and one lazy day.

small jug for behind toilet and let it do its thing. medium sized trowels and then rake over to even out and get more coverage.
