    What a mess, ive come across fitters who produce work like that, they usually get found out pretty quick.

    Unfortunately I get a call atleast 3 or 4 times a month to sort these so called fitters work out, these are the same fitters that took work off me from the shop I used to sub to as they were cheaper than me, oneday there may be a way of stopping these cowboys or maybe not but we can hope and pray there is

    I see that kind of thing a lot in old cottages, not so much with pipes, more with wires when a sparky installs a new socket.

    and I love the chewed up base on doorplate.. one nail in the triangle? is that so, as when you force the carpet in, it swivels to shape....
