Dont have nightmares ? This was a full ground floor 120m2 I ripped up & replaced ! It had been down 3 weeks & payed for in full ?
Ha ha, No its two separate doors. Don't touch laminate unless its skirts off and a room. (No Mario I don't mean that)
lolz, had to larf at those doorways, right or wrong i just did... f00kin comical... on what level would anybody in their right mind think thats acceptable, bizarre!!!
because most customers don't know the difference between a professional installer and a DIY bodge, thank B&Q and Floors2Go for that.
I think that will happen with other flooring shortly. Can see the click being sold by muppets and fitted by them too.
We developed a microsite 4/5 years ago for a national housing association client with pictures of what happens to various floor coverings with poor sub floor preparation and poor approach i.e. no moisture test etc, hence we won the contract. We kept the site live for a while until we were contacted by 2 companies to remove the site as even though I had not named actual products these companies thought we were portraying them or their associated products badly. It got quite nasty as they threatened us with legal proceedings. We closed the site as did not need the hassle. It was ironic as at the time how these companies where deferring from flooring retailers and using other retail outlets to sale their products that were more associated with bob the builder than a flooring installer. I am going to do the site again as I am sick of losing contracts and then when something goes wrong and they come back to us for help/advice and i get those words, "if only we had known." We think awareness and openness is a great thing in any type of business, so why should flooring be any different ?
So very true sir. The amount of customers who tell me this every week is astounding. Would like to know the site when you've set it up again!
