Underlay.

What underlay would you recommend underneath engineered wood in a room that has an upright piano in it? The sub floor is concrete.

use a good quality acoustic underlay, the more you pay the better the properties... as per Trimmz post Excel is hard to better...

 

full stick mate, piano's are a bit heavy for floating floors

 

Piano will mess up a eng floor .

 

so would my kids

 

Excell or timbertech. Both great underlays. But your sub-floor needs to be even to take the weight of a piano.
Sticking though is for sure the very best idea.
