Wood effect cover strip?

Morning all,

I got two different types of lvt meeting in a door way but the customer for some unknown reason does want them butted up and cut in clean they want a door bar. Now being two woods they don't want a silver or brass one.

Just wondering what bars there are in the world that would do it? I don't fit laminate or wood so not sure if there is something in the world of wood that would do it?

Qa products do a few wood looking doortrims which I've used. But I use a design strip or 2 which keeps the floor flat.

 

Yeah have you mentioned a design strip. 10mm I use but karndean have the 30mm aswell.

 

Cfs do stick down wood effect bars. They look ****

 

You could use a 38mm x 10mm piece of dressed timber, stain it and fit it prior to ply and flooring fitting. I think it was fairly standard in houses built around the seventies but I pull them out far more than put them in.

 

CFS can't get them at the Mo - Morley's supplied them.

Floor wise do some

 

Just looked on floorwise and they got what im looking for just need to see if I can colour match.

How about a quickstep incizo cut into a T bar then with a semi sharp chisel take the back of the T off leaving you with a flat wood effect bar then simply siga tape down
