This is the "Random Chat" section so here is a random question (or two).

Has anyone EVER used ALL the keys on their laptop?

Does anyone KNOW what all the keys do on their laptop?

Could you press a key or keys and completely mess up your laptop? (That's not an invitation to try)!

Just interested.....things are a little quiet!

I think I have at one time or other. I did a Microsoft Diploma in Software Programming years ago and a couple of courses in Photoshop and all keys come into play. The keys do different things with different software. You're not likely to do much damage unless you access operating menus.

A handy one to know if your machine takes ages to boot up is to click on the start button and in the search window type msconfig and it'll come up on the search....click on it . From that click on the startup tab and you can switch off the programs you don't need that start when you boot. If you're not sure what programs you need best leave alone.

Another one I use a lot is press CTRL and then + or - to zoom in and out.
