If its so good why does no one stock it ? Or is it just not available in Gods country ?

Mapie , uzin etc was doing this maybe 20 years ago. The u.k companys watched this method fail so decided not to go this route .

Why did it fail? basically because the british didnt mix it correct. For example you dont just tip a bag of fibres in the mix.

Because of this the British decided not to go this route and invented products where the fibres was already already mixed in for you. (fball 700 for example) .

The British use this method for concrete screeds tho and again we have done for many years.

Like most products tho, there are so many great products in Europe that the manufactories wont sell in the U.K as our installers dont get trained / read instructions on how to use products and cock them up.

did anyone know that Mapei have over 1400 different products? 59 production plants and over 7500 employees ?

In the U.K not many people know about them, in the u.k we have a selection of maybe 50 products which most are ceramic products. Crazy that because of the U.k attitude we are only drip feed a very small range of products that are actually out there. Those producst are mainly budget priced items as we want 'cheap'

I use the schonax Fpl plus and 300 and 700 , your get a good price from bond- it now they are making under licence in th UK,
Mind you that 1200 takes some beating as an all round screed, I know it's not a water mix but it ticked all the boxs on a job we have just done.
